Last Updated: 22nd August 2026
Lazish Biryani Limited is a growing food brand operating through a network of independently operated locations trading under the Lazish Biryani name. This page explains the relationship between Lazish Biryani Limited and independently operated stores and is intended to provide clarity to customers, suppliers, franchisees and other visitors to this website.
- Independently Operated Stores
Certain Lazish Biryani locations are owned and operated independently by separate legal entities or individuals under a franchise or other commercial arrangement with Lazish Biryani Limited.
Each independently operated store is a separate business and is responsible for its own day-to-day operations, employees, premises, suppliers, contractors, licences, registrations, tax obligations and legal compliance.
The operation of an independently operated store does not mean that the store is owned, managed or directly operated by Lazish Biryani Limited unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Separate Legal Entities
Each franchisee or independent operator is a separate legal entity or business from Lazish Biryani Limited and its directors, shareholders, officers, employees and associated companies.
Where an order, purchase, booking, catering service or other transaction is made directly with an independently operated store, the relevant transaction is with that store’s operating entity, subject to the terms applicable to that transaction.
Customers and other third parties should direct any enquiries, complaints or claims relating to a particular store to the store concerned in the first instance. Where necessary, Lazish Biryani Limited may provide details of the relevant operating entity upon request.
- Responsibility for Individual Stores
Independent operators are responsible for ensuring that their respective stores comply with all applicable laws, regulations, licences and requirements relating to their business, including, where applicable:
- Food safety and hygiene requirements;
- Environmental health requirements;
- Employment and staffing matters;
- Health and safety;
- Premises and landlord obligations;
- Trading standards and consumer requirements;
- Local authority requirements;
- Insurance;
- Tax and accounting obligations; and
- The operation and management of their individual business.
Lazish Biryani Limited may provide brand standards, training, operational guidance, recipes, systems, marketing materials and other franchise support. Such support does not mean that Lazish Biryani Limited assumes responsibility for the independent operator’s day-to-day business operations or legal obligations.
- Food, Allergens and Customer Enquiries
Where a store is independently operated, responsibility for the day-to-day food preparation, handling, storage, allergen management and other operational matters relating to the provision of food at that particular location rests with the relevant operating entity, subject to applicable law and the contractual arrangements governing the franchise.
Customers with food allergies or dietary requirements should always speak directly with the relevant store before placing an order.
Information displayed on this website may be provided for general guidance and may not always reflect the availability, ingredients, pricing or practices of a particular independently operated location. Customers should confirm relevant information directly with the store before ordering where necessary.

Where appropriate, customers should verify information directly with the relevant store.
- Third-Party Services
Individual stores may use third-party delivery platforms, payment providers, suppliers, contractors and other service providers.
Where a customer uses a third-party service, that service may be subject to the third party’s own terms, conditions and privacy policies.
Lazish Biryani Limited is not responsible for matters arising solely from the acts or omissions of independent third-party service providers, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
- Intellectual Property and Brand Standards
Independently operated stores may trade under the Lazish Biryani brand pursuant to a licence or franchise arrangement.
The Lazish Biryani name, trademarks, logos, branding, recipes, systems, materials and other intellectual property are owned by Lazish Biryani Limited and may only be used by independently operated stores in accordance with the terms of their applicable franchise or licence agreement.
The use of the Lazish Biryani brand by an independent operator should not be interpreted as creating a partnership, joint venture, agency relationship or employment relationship between the independent operator and Lazish Biryani Limited, except where expressly established by a written agreement.
- No Partnership or Agency
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a written agreement, Lazish Biryani Limited and an independently operated store are separate businesses.
Nothing on this website is intended to create or imply a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship or general agency relationship between Lazish Biryani Limited, its associated companies, directors, shareholders, employees and an independent store operator.
An independent operator does not have authority to make representations, commitments or contractual arrangements on behalf of Lazish Biryani Limited or any of its associated companies unless expressly authorised to do so.
- Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lazish Biryani Limited and its associated companies, directors, shareholders, officers and employees are not responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, costs or damages arising solely from the independent operation, management or conduct of an independently operated store, where such matters are the responsibility of the relevant independent operator.
This includes matters arising solely from the acts or omissions of the relevant independent operator, its employees, contractors, suppliers or other representatives.
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes, restricts or limits any liability or legal responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or limited, or affects any rights or remedies available to customers under applicable law.
